- Flight from Jorge Newbery airport in Buenos Aires to Santa Rosa airport.
- If coming from abroad, direct transfer by car or bus from Ezeiza International Airport to Caichue.
- The lodge has is own runway for private planes.

MARCH - APRIL - MAY
There are cold nights until mid morning with temperatures which can vary between 2°C and 8°C, evenings are milder with temperatures between 12°C and 18°C
JUNE - JULY - AUGUST
Freezing cold nights and mornings with temperatures between -5°C and -10°C , and evenings between 8°C and 10°C.
SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER - NOVEMBER
Cool nights and mornings, sometimes even cold with temperartures between 5°C and 10°C, and afternoons between 5ºC and 15°C.
DECEMBER - JANUARY - FEBRUARY
Mild nights, occasionally cool, and hot days with temperatures which can sometimes exceed 35°C.
Caichue is situated in a cattle breeding ranch in the Province of La Pampa, Argentina. It is situated on the Provincial Road 14, between the small villages of El Durazno and Jagüel del Monte, 150 kilometers away from Santa Rosa, the capital city of La Pampa province.
GETTING TO ARGENTINA
FLYING TO ARGENTINA
Argentina is located in South America, in the southern part of it. All airlines flying to Argentina arrive mainly at Ezeiza (“Ministro Pistarini”) International Airport, which is 23 miles (37 Km) away from the City of Buenos Aires.
CURRENCY & PAYMENTS METHODS
We accept the following methods of payment: cash, checks (3% plus), and wired deposits.
The official Argentine currency is the Peso. US Dollars and Euros are generally accepted everywhere. Anyway, foreign currencies can be exchanged in banks and authorized bureaus. American Express, VISA, Diners and Master Card are widely accepted.
Argentina is Malaria free. No vaccination certificate is required to enter the country.
No medical certificates are needed to enter Argentina.

A Valid passport is required. No VISA is required for U.S. citizens. Argentinean reciprocity tax: There is a reciprocity charge, when, Canadian (USD92) or Australian (USD100) citizens arrive to our country and it is valid for 10 years. It has to be paid online prior to travelling. Residents of other countries have to contact their nearest Argentine consulate to obtain this information.

Caichue will take care of helping you in introducing your rifle into our country. In Buenos Aires international airport our staff will meet & greet you and help you in gun clearance. 1 months prior to your hunting trip, you will be sent a firearm permit form to be completed, so we can work on the advanced paperwork. Consulate procedure can be done by email now.
Gun import permit is approximately USD 140 each/gun (It may change by authorities). Three guns and no more than 4 kg (8,8 lb) per person are allowed. Please, be aware that Renar does not allow people to come in with Semi-auto Rifles. Also, ammunition and cartridges will have to be dispatched in a hard box by separate as a registered baggage and hunters are not allowed to bring ammo without their correspondent guns.

If its requiere Caichue will take care of dipping, packing and expediting trophies for u$140,00. After the hunt we will get you in contact with the exporting company.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
PRE TRIP FORM
1) Will someone be waiting us at the airport when we arrive to Argentina?
- Yes, is you ask for it. We can help you to get the domestic flight in Buenos Aires and we can wait you in Santa Rosa airport to go to the Ranch. Caichue will charge you for the assitance the same price of a taxi.
2) Do you provide us fire arms?
-Yes, we can rent you rifles and shotguns,
3) Can you take the hunting permit?
-Yes, we have to take the hunting permit for you (cost: around u$200-450, depending on the amount of species)
4) Can I bring guns to Argentina?
-Yes, each hunter is able to bring up to three guns. You should know that Argentina has not a efficient process. Each hunter will have to do the first procedure in the RENAR (Fire Arm Registration) and then another procedure in the CUSTOMS. This two procedure could take 45min to 2 hours, deppending on the amount of hunters. Mandatorily a guide from Caichue has to help you and present forms. To complete these procedure Caichue will charge 100 us per hunter.
