The official Argentine currency is the Peso. US Dollars and Euros are generally accepted everywhere. Anyway, foreign currencies can be exchanged in banks and authorized bureaus. American Express, VISA, Diners and Master Card are widely accepted.
Argentina is Malaria free. No vaccination certificate is required to enter the country.
No medical certificates are needed to enter Argentina.

A Valid passport is required. No VISA is required for U.S. citizens. Argentinean reciprocity tax: There is a reciprocity charge, when United States (USD160), Canadian (USD92) or Australian (USD100) citizens arrive to our country and it is valid for 10 years. It has to be paid online prior to travelling. Residents of other countries have to contact their nearest Argentine consulate to obtain this information.

Importation of firearms
Caichue will take care of helping you in introducing your rifle into our country. In Buenos Aires international airport our staff will meet & greet you and help you in gun clearance. 1 months prior to your hunting trip, you will be sent a firearm permit form to be completed, so we can work on the advanced paperwork. Ask for Consulate procedure.
Gun import permit is approximately USD 140 each/gun (It may change by authorities). Three guns per person are allowed. Please, be aware that Renar does not allow people to come in with Semi-auto Rifles. Also, ammunition and cartridges will have to be dispatched in a hard box by separate as a registered baggage and hunters are not allowed to bring ammo without their correspondent guns.

Expediting of trophies
If you requiere Caichue can take care of dipping, packing and expediting your trophies for u$100,00. After the hunt we will get you in contact with the exporting company.
1) Someone is going to be waiting me in the airport? Yes, is you ask for it. We can help you to get the domestic flight in Buenos Aires and we can wait you in Santa Rosa airport to go to the Ranch.
2) Do you provide us fire arms? Yes, we can rent you rifles and shotguns.
3) Can you take the hunting permit? Yes, we have to take the hunting permit for you (cost: around u$100-450, depending on the amount of species)
